The editor on this site runs CADCraft 0.8.0 from October 17, 2026, with the community Agent patch. Each guide names the version it was written for; the changes since then are below.
October 18, 2026 — Drawing editing Agent
The Agent edits real model-space objects: add lines, circles, rectangles and plain text, move supported objects, change text and undo. Existing Craft Apps credits apply. Locked layers, blocks, groups, 3D and constrained drawings are protected. DXF generation and explanation remain available with credits or your own key. Review dimensions and save your DXF before leaving. Community build details.

- Select: pick a SOLID inside its fill, not its bounding rectangle
- View: refuse a view that maps to an infinite viewport view, keeping the viewport
- Plotting: honor model-space center and X/Y offsets

- POLYGON: an Edge second endpoint on the first is refused and asked again (follow-up to #735)

- Hatch: a view covering a pattern hatch leaves its lines exactly as they are
- DXF/DWG: write the Model layout's plot type as extents, not "Layout information"
- Active viewport highlight: selection on the GPU, hover cached apart, kept inside a clipped outline
- TRIM: a pick after a closed polyline's last cut keeps only the complementary run (#726)
- Constraints: an arc solved with a negative radius is stored turned half a turn, so its points stay put
- Geometry: fit splines with too many points use them as control points instead of a dense solve
- Autosave: a write that failed is tried again without another change
- Selection: rebuild the spatial index when a layer used inside blocks is hidden or shown
