The editor
CADCraft is made by the ArtCraft team and contributors and published at github.com/storytold/cadcraft. It is dual-licensed under the MIT License or the Apache License 2.0, at your option. Copyright © 2026 ArtCraft Team and the CADCraft contributors.
This site serves the web build from each GitHub release without modification. The current build is v0.5.0; its zip matched the release’s published SHA-256 checksum (da9f83bb88281471dc4f4fae5cbf35e80b72e4d4352852ed147fc19debe44e86). Every file is served byte for byte as it is in that zip. The only things left out are the sample header files for other web servers (_headers, .htaccess).
The app’s WebAssembly file (14.4 MB) is stored in Cloudflare R2 object storage and streamed from there, with the same bytes and the same name. The app’s own page preloads it with a Subresource Integrity hash, which you can compare with the file.
The licence texts ship with the build: LICENSE-MIT and LICENSE-APACHE, together with the project’s README and hosting notes. The project’s NOTICE and ATTRIBUTION files say that its icons, single-stroke drafting font, hatch patterns, linetypes and sample drawings are original work drawn or defined in code. The DWG library it uses (acadrust, Mozilla Public License 2.0) is not part of the web build.

What we add
- The page around the editor: a top bar that confirms downloads and asks before you leave with work in the editor.
- The AI drafting panel, which runs in your browser on your own API key.
- The guides.
Screenshots
The product screenshots on this site (the apartment plan, the mounting bracket and the paper-space layout) are from the CADCraft repository’s docs/images folder (MIT OR Apache-2.0). The drawings in them are CADCraft’s own sample drawings, generated in code.
